Blended Learning: EEA Nationals and UC - Impact of Brexit


This Blended Learning combines an E-Learning course with an online Workshop and concentrates on what happens to those EEA Nationals in the UK who are not eligible for full Settled Status in terms of the benefits they can receive following Brexit - during the 'grace period' and beyond. 
Can they secure their financial situation and sustain their tenancies?



WORKSHOP PLAN:

Who can still apply to he EUSS?
What is the 'grace period'?
Which EEA Nationals can claim UC during the 'grace period'?

What happens when the 'grace period' ends?
What is known about the new immigration points system
Difficulties claiming UC and how to overcome them


Led by experts, this Blended Learning is one in our range of online training courses that explore the detail of current Universal Credit 'hot topics'.


Designed to be engaging, informative and interactive, the course enables participants to gain a deeper understanding of the topic area.

Each E-Learning  last between 1- 2 hours and is followed by a online workshop that lasts either 2 or 3 hours, and will include a presentation, Q&A session, exercises to reinforce learning, discussion of useful tools and an action plan.

With a maximum of 16 on each course, participants have the opportunity to delve into some of the current issues affecting UC claimants so that they are able to offer appropriate help and advice.

Workshop -  Wednesday 13th January 9.30am - 12.30pm
