What if the overpayment has already been recovered - is it too late to challenge?
Not necessarily - if the overpayment has already been recovered, however this was done, then as long as the challenge is made within the time limits - usually a calendar month, but up to 13 months
in some circumstances - then a challenge can still be made. And if successful the HB Office will need to refund the overpayment already recovered.
