Monthly Quiz: November 2022

This month it is all about UC claimant commitments and the cooling off period.

Question:
Why not enter our competition and possibly win a donation for your local food bank?

The winner will be selected at random and can nominate a food bank of their choice to receive a £50 donation from us, and they will also receive a FREE place on our November Conference.

To enter this month's competition, just email your entry to us by Friday 9th December for your chance to win.

This month's competition question:

Joyce is on Universal Credit. She has recently had a review Work Capability Assessment and was found to have a limited capability for work and work related activities (LCWRA). She previously had a limited capability for work (LCW).

Her Work Coach must now revise her Claimant Commitment and move her from the 'Work Focused Interviews and Work Preparation' conditionality group to the 'No Work Requirements' group.

Joyce will be notified of her revised Claimant Commitment - she must agree to it by the end of the 'cooling off' period - otherwise her UC award could be terminated.

How long is the 'cooling off' period?
