This workshop looks at the key problem areas UC claimants experience with the Housing Costs Element. Many claimants do not receive the correct amount but find it difficult to work out why.

This workshop takes learners through the steps of how HB is calculated - highlighting where things can go wrong.

EEA Nationals and UC: Impact of Brexit - online Blended Learning

This Blended Learning combines an E-Learning course with an online Workshop and concentrates on what happens to those EEA Nationals in the UK who are not eligible for full Settled Status in terms of the benefits they can receive following Brexit - during the 'grace period' and beyond.

UC The Essentials - online Blended Learning Programme

Mixed Age Couples - Blended Learning

This Workshop will look at the comples area of mixed age couples. Many have options when it comes to claiming benefits - pick the wrong one and they could end up significantly worse off! 

The rules are very confusing, but there is little published information. The Workshop investigates the issues so that learners can help claimants make informed decisions.

Escape Rooms

Looking for something different to do with your Team/s that's educational and fun - that's all online?

Why not take a look at our interactive 'Calculating UC Escape Room' - working in small groups teams work together to complete tasks and solve puzzles - learning or refreshing their UC knowledge as they go. It's an immersive and fun experience that gets your team working together whilst sitting in their own homes!

Some important documents have been left behind. A small team needs to crack various puzzles and codes using a combination of logical thinking and UC knowledge to retrieve them. Can they do it within an hour and save the day?

What do the different levels mean
Introductory
These courses are aimed at learners who are new to Universal Credit.
These courses give a useful overview of the topic.

Intermediate
For learners who would like to build on or refresh current knowledge. 
These courses cover the essential UC topics and provide useful examples of how to use the knowledge gained.

Advanced
For those learners who are ready to tackle the more complicated areas of Universal Credit. 
These courses provide an in-depth look at some of the more problematic areas of the UC regulations.
