About this course:
This E-Learning course looks at how the DWP work out the Transitional Element for those manage-migrating onto UC. It gives learners the knowledge they need to check whether a claimant's Transitional Element has been assessed correctly - and highlights where mistakes are being made. As well as looking at the 'Total legacy Amount' and 'Indicative UC Amount it explain the special rules, when a Transitional Element should be reassessed due to retrospective changes and erosion and loss. It also provides hints and tips along the way.

Aimed at: Advisers working with benefit claimants moving onto UC through Managed Migration.

With a quick final quiz at the end so you can test yourself on what you have learned.

A good knowledge of Universal Credit is assumed.
