Rahul (67) and his wife Saira (62) made a claim for Universal Credit when Saira went part time at work. Rahul has health problems and gets PIP daily living and mobility, and he has been told he should request a Work Capability Assessment.
What should the DWP do?

A: Explain that as he is pension age they cannot put him forward for a Work Capability Assessment.
B: Request a fit note from him, forward him for a Work Capability Assessment and apply a work allowance to Saira's wages.
